Accessories for long air guns include a large number of products. Magazines

As a rule, long air guns are characterized by a magazine design, powered e. g. by a CO2 cartridge, a cylinder or a manual pump. Thus, standard break barrel air rifles are not equipped with a magazine because they are single-shot. An exception, however, are e. g. GAMO air rifles from the MULTISHOT 10X model series, which are equipped with a magazine with a capacity of 10 pellets. Holsters for long air guns

Proper storage and safe transport of your air gun is very important. Proper storage will avoid corrosion, for example, and safe transport will avoid mechanical damage and scratches. Gun holsters or gun cases that protect your weapon from external weather conditions and from the risk of mechanical damage will help you in this respect. Cleaning for long air guns

It is advisable to clean the air gun after each use before storing it, as lead residue gradually builds up in the grooves of the barrel. The longer you put off cleaning and maintenance, the more difficult it will be in the future. A cleaning kit of the appropriate caliber (e.g., 4.5 mm / 5.5 mm and others) should be used to clean the barrel. If the design of your air rifle allows it, the barrel is cleaned in one direction, namely out of the muzzle of the barrel. To clean the barrel you also need suitable cleaning oils or sprays. Finally, it is advisable to wipe the barrel dry with an appropriate wiper. However, do not forget about the surface of your air rifle (whether wood, plastic, iron), which should also be treated once in a while with a suitable oil or spray. Shooting ranges and targets

Shooting ranges, traps and targets are a great and practical tool for improving your shooting skills. The standard paper target for airgun shooting is a 14 x 14 cm target. If you don't want pellets flying all over the garden, buy a pellet trap, into which you insert the target and the ammunition doesn't fly any further through the trap. However, there are also a number of different metal targets and shooting traps (a combination of a metal target and a trap) currently available on the market.

Energy sources

It is no longer true that there are only break barrel air rifles. Many models of modern air guns are powered by, for example, compressed carbon dioxide contained in a cartridge or compressed air obtained from an external source, which is most often a cylinder, a manual pump and a special compressor. Therefore, if you have such an air gun at home, or you are going to get one, do not forget about the power source that powers it, otherwise you will not be able to shoot it.

Other accessories and equipment

The idea of equipping your air rifle with, for example, a rifle scope, red dot sight, laser sight, bipod and sling is certainly worth considering. Another interesting and fun feature is an air gun power meter (called a chronometer), which allows you to measure the power or energy at the muzzle of the barrel and measure the speed of pellets of different weights.
